okays, i shall be good and clear off my tasks this week, NO PROCRASTINATING!
let's hope my aircon in the office is back to function, if not..... i am crying out loud later!

finally those busy days are over (for the moment). at least for the next 3 weeks. no lectures till 5th jan; just one more practical to go! so now i can fully concentrate on my work stuff, because audit period draws real close now!

went to marina bay sands today, since the boys are staying overnight today, so we went to seeseelooklook! & skygardens simply, awesome....... beyond description, and i even had a good nap while waiting for them to finish their swim. teehee..!

having a 4 working days week, and tonight's celebrating jiaxin's birthday @ wheelocks, followed by my offday.. with sat missie coming over and shopping for xmas stuff. ;DD really a love love love week!

but, somehow i think, if im satisfied here, something else might be disappointing me. i don't know what, but usually that's the case. let's hope im wrong though! and i hope, even if there is, it had better not have anything to do with lollipop! (:

time flies. today was my little brother's last day at work.
i can't poke poke him anymore.
i can't play with him anymore.
i can't rest my head on his shoulder whenever i am feeling tired.
i won't get to see him passing by me and try to scare me, when i am walking to work from the bus-stop i alight every morning..
and so on, and so forth..
(aww. i don't know why, but when i typed till here, my eyes went wet. =/)

yesterday 4 of us, went for dinner together, silly little boy kept asking me to eat 猪肚, o.o, initially we had 9 going, but somehow it happened that 5 can't make it, so down to 4, nevertheless, we still made it, and i was so glad, i did insisted on going. (: (in addition, im so glad misunderstandings were cleared too (:, i realized i really think too much, cause while i am thinking about scenario a, in fact, it was scenario b..... but i was glad someone told me about it, otherwise, i guess i won't have the courage to clear them, ever! so... i kinda enjoyed yesterday (:)

while conversation with him on fb awhile ago, made me even bu she de, especially when he was asking if i wanna send him off this friday, which i couldn't since i am on leave later already! let's hope i can really make it to visit him next year.

p.s today another newcomer, same age as me, but an october. too bad! i am on leave... shall see how he look like on Friday then.

i realised; i prefer biology to chemistry, yet im major-ing chemistry. suck big time....... im gonna be seeing more carbon structures than cell walls, DNA and sorts for the next 3 years... i better make myself fall in love with c-c structures...... it's almost 3rd week into this module..... =/

alit' depressed. since i can't seem to get over some issues in my mind, i just can't balance the rights and wrongs up there.. and it's the time of the month, that got me even hay-wired..

i was just done with anhb1101. i think we're real "lucky". there hadn't been any illustrations questions for the past 5 years, yet we were given not one, but TWO! anyways its over, and the results ain't out anytime soon, im not gonna anticipate that since it meant 8 weeks later (which is next module's exam period...)...

aww, after putting a full stop to a module, barely 24 hours, starting an organic chemistry module, ouch! those structures yet again, and whats worst... i bet the outline's the same, weekly quizzes....... arghhh! suck big time! hope i can manage this module well along with my audit preparations... sheeshh..

wow. i guess its been ages that i last changed a blog template, at least this year i hadn't done so. what's even surprising is i hadn't blog-hop, and my archives are still accumulating (:

tonight's the final exam, part of me is prepared part of me is not. part of me really felt like giving up and just enter the examination room later, since i had been completely exhausted from repetitively studying and studying this whole week, and kept realising i forgot this & that. i hope the coming module ain't as hell as this. i don't wanna kill so many of brain cells memorising!

不知道总比知道来的好...

as expected, that practical exam was really c.r.a.p, it's like i barely warm my butt, and i got to move to another table. O.O gotta like exercise my brain cells frantically fast! if not the buzzer went off. oh well. part of it i am sure, part of it im screwed. part of it spelling error. so, because there's barely enough time to analyse whether was it an okok paper or not, i thought its better not to dwell so much and simply concentrate for the last theory paper. (actually both are theory papers =/)

speaking of this practical exam, i thought i was real suay for that day. i slept at 4+am that night and supposed to wake @ 655 for work, but somehow i overslept and woke at 722! crapppppped, quickly bathe (oh well, i insisted of bathing every morning though =/) and had to pia cab there, and phew. 7.58am pls! =/

then, there's these calls, those calls, making my half day there terribly terribly busy! and somehow i was having a real bad headache, most likely due to deprive of sleep. =/ yet, o: i was so surprised that someone bought panadols for me, when i didn't ask him to. but luckily with that 2 pills, i was so much better! so really gotta thank him many many many. (:

tuesday, which was yesterday, another frantically busy day, since i gonna be on leave till 22nd. =/ (seriously, i rather work than staying home to study.....) yet yet yet. someone had to annoy me. ): !!!!

when i asked if they gonna miss me when im not around for the next few days; one said yes. one said, good, no one vying for fresh air with me. -____-"

sometimes i really wonder what's exactly going on thouuuuu, but let's leave it!

monday; i had been having the terrible blues. not the usual blues, but, those real terrible ones. |:
tuesday; slightly better, especially after pouring out some stuff to somebody, that faded off some blues. (:
wednesday; gooood, they could even sense that i was on the "high" side today, (;

but the coming days gonna be :s

forever time allocation is so freaking tough to do so.
nomatter if i slept enough, or i didn't sleep, i still feel equally drowsy.

tonight was last tutorial session before the exams kick in. monday the 25% exam, and friday the 40% exam.
and monday's exam probably only given 30minutes to complete 12sets of questions, and the breakdown our tutor gave us was, allocating 2.5mins per set of question, *gulps* analysing; reading a qn - some seconds, identifying a qn - some seconds, understanding a qn - some seconds, figuring out how to construct the sentence for an answer - probably many more seconds. and.... how many qns per set? oh my tian, i better drink alot of coffee or whatever to prepare myself in a good state that evening.

i wanna do shopping, but i really don't know when i can do so. coming saturdays are all occupied with lessons. but luckily there's online shopping, which i will spend 30mins a night to browse all the sites, better than nothing =/

before thursday, i initially planned for my long weekend to be a pretty dull one; play my facebook apps, prepare my examination notes.

suddenly!

#1 thursday before off-ing work, we decided to go to this get it fair @ expo. thus, impromptu, met up with my 3 colleagues to seeseelooklook on friday afternoon. been standing, walking the whole day until we went to tampines for dinner, thats when i only got to rest myself. nice day out! (:

#2 (alrights, this is not an impromptu event) promised my mum to accompany her to this ihavenoideawho's concert @ marina bay sands this evening. =/

#3 mum called in the evening asking if i wanna join the boys to the zoo this sunday, thinking since i had been thinking of going since last year, why not? hahaha. ;D

so suddenly, everyday's pack with something going on. coming tuesday, there's another buffet dinner with colleagues. xDD

i love such momentum of life.
it makes everything look almost flawless. (:

then slowly, i gonna sink myself into notes of misery.
actually i have many things on hand that i have to do, or get.. oh crap, i seriously need more time for every of them! grant meeeee....

almost approaching the 5th week of school, that meant another 2 weeks, it will be revision week, followed by 2 days of exams. and guess what, that week i am gonna be working for probably 1.5 days, supposingly it sounds like a great deal, but guess not, revising at home, and meanwhile having my little boy at home with me, i might have a tough time concentrating.. but i guess most probably the day after exam there's still school for the new unit, O:

tsk tsk. 8 weeks/perunit makes everyday passes like how the lightning strikes. hahahas. however. i realised this term i couldn't concentrate like i did for the previous unit. i know i know why. :p

can't believe 2011 is approaching tooooo. aww. i simply had this hunch that 2011 will be an expect-to-see-lotsa-differences year. hmm, let's cross fingers that they're mostly positives (:

especially these days, everything's been so affected.

i felt sorta both the hesitation & yet the relieve in me today.
hesitating about whether should i say it or suppress it (yet again), but i gotta admit, it had gotten to the extent that i can't take it any longer, and obviously someone's isn't doing me a great favour all along in return! instead, thanksforlettingmeknowhowuselessiam, in actual fact. which made me felt utterly terrible the whole day yesterday, on top of monday blues.

blowing things up ain't my objective. i don't like being "dare-d".. =/

so affecting that i could hardly concentrate on mugging for this evening's quiz. i am constantly thinking what's the situation like later, although i am only there for the later part of the day.

it's pretty much an impromptu outing that i planned. it turned out to be it was xiaohui's birthday, and i thought why not celebrate foursome's birthday together for the october's. ahahs (:

so since xiaohui & i often argued over who sings better, we decided to go sing k, and we went to katong shopping centre's (the one we went previously went for jiaxin's twentyfirst)..

met up with one of my colleagues to get some snacks and drinks, and of course the cake, before going over to our workplace to meet the others who were working OT.

turned out pretty good, and hoped they had a great time singing! oh.hoho. ((

so this is how i spent my longweekend productively. i actually stayed home for the -72 hours-, alrights, maybe for the mere twentyminutes that i went down to get 25 pieces of cd-r and paid my credit card bill. i was doing room-cleaning, and o'crap, if i ever have to move anytime, i think im screwed, im not exaggerating but i simply don'tknowhowtodescribetheloadofstuff i have. in future i shall showcase them (provided im able to own a house la, i am trying very hard now, laughs!)

examination results for the previous unit gonna be release soon, while school's resuming too. i made a new resolution, and i shall fulfill this in due time. it isn't gonna be tough to make this resolution i believe, since time is not compromising with me either, what matters - i can't regret! but then again, i always fail to discipline myself.

enough of that. constantly running about in my mind, i am thinking of doing this favour for him, then he'd feel in debt to me. but lets see if he's taking the bait. hehehehe~

for the past few years, august had always been a month i both dreaded and yet loving it.

i wonder should i be thankful about how time flies these months, all this while.

approaching the second month of school, with two more intensive weeks of lectures, crazy heavy-weighted reports duedates, and final exam will be calling upon us, that are all happening for the next 3 weeks. -gasps- & i will be freed for 2 months before i can get to see shawn joining us since he registered last week, aha! simply yayness. hais, fretting over whether should i take leave for next week's 5 days of lessons, or i should take a step at a time? i'm so running out of leaves pretty soon at this rate. eew. kays, enough of xue xiao.

second week of june

july is a financially-looking forward month, but not a school-looking forward month, for that meant, exam is so-round-the-corner. lol. i know i just started my school, but it's all down to 3 weeks to mid term test and 7 weeks to exam! horrifying to count this way.

so far. i realised, i made a great timely-choice to study at this point of time. reason. i realised i can't really study like i did back in poly, and my time management is getting real bad, i can't juggle with my everyday tasks. can't imagine. if i were to embark on such mutilroles in later years. haiz, having used to 2 full days of weekend spent with shopping or slacking at home with FB these 2.5 years, i really need more time to get adapted, but if i dilly dally, i'm screwed. :s

enough of getting emotional. x:

back to how i spent the weekend.

one fine saturday that both hanni&i went for a date. aha. so we went for dim sum ala-carte, and we spent 10bucks each, filling, and they were all prawns, so love. :D i was so muddle-headed that i forgot to bring along my print out for my redemption of breeks' card, luckily i have my phone, teehee!

so we train-ed to city hall, window-shopped from marina sq, to finding the new expansion (having to walk to millenia walk, thinking that was the place, obviously not, my bad, haaa!) but, at millenia walk, we saw pierre png & belinda lee. whoa. very chio and yandao pls. xDD so we snapped photos. bwhaha. walked back to suntec, and realised the expansion is actually along which you will pass by when you walked from suntec to city hall. ohcrap. bleh.

finally gotten something from newlook. and so window-shopped. (i was thinking whether to get a netbook or ~~notebook~~, but if i get the latter, i believe my brother will scream at me. woops)

dined at breeks since we just redeemed our card with the vouchers. which eventually something pretty hilarious happened. kay. i admitted that we took a little longer than usual to place our orders, but somehow the waiter who took our orders, for i don't know what reason, actually apologised for assuming we came in for ice water (??? beats me.. i can't figure that out you know), i was really puzzled, with a puzzled-face. (erm okay, so later we realised, there's actually such people who came in for ice water, for as long as we were there, they came in earlier fyi, they didn't had anything? ohwow) but, i thought, you don't have to admit? lol. funny.

afterwhich we walked to raffles city shopping centre, and saw a few opposite stg foodmates, wow, they hadn't change a tiny bit. bwhaha! oh well, time flies huh. (:

having walked around almost 9 hours, we decided to go back and rest!

and i slacked all the way at home, x:

that explains why i am still awake now, at 1am to finishing recapping previous lectures and prepare coming pre-lab quiz.. shackssss. time to go to bed.

first day of school

i actually felt like a primary school kid, sorta anticipating school the night before.
but because of sudden increase in workload ~~(and i had been all the while having this sort of depression at work),~~ i got kind of worried at the same time too.
hopefully i won't struggle with both of them badly for the coming days.

anyway. this unit has a total of approx. 90+ students in the class. and my first unit was sorta biotech cum chemistry basic. remember those electrons, neutrons, protons? (sadly, i returned them back, for they were secondary 3 chemistry!! shacks.) and then, macromolecules; remember those, lipids, fatty acids, proteins, nucleotides, etc? (at least that hadn't really faded off from my memory, since they were taught during poly yr 2). soon it will be RNA/DNA.. first few lessons will still be on recapping on those basics, which im so glad they are not covered during final exam. phew. oh. i forgot to say this. my exam, my quiz are totally MCQ. screwed. (instead of going hurray, i totally sulk when i heard that confirmation) at least if short/long questions, there's still more than 50% of probability getting a mark by crapping. MCQ, if it's a wrong option, then 0marks. and i always suck at mcq for dunno what reason. for mcq, the coverage can be so unpredictable. this meant i have to understand them like a storybook, and not reproduce them into another edition of a story book. scary.

but i gotta say, it's good to have companion. actually looking around the class, most comes in pairs or trios, or they are already in a clique from previous cohort.

first lesson, like i said, was a recap of the basic. abit gong gong. and coming monday's lecture is delayed for one hour, instead of starting at 7, it's gonna start at 8.

after class, we went to town to kickstart gss spree. but with care. lol. cause i realised. there might be chances that it's only till next weekend that i can get my pay banked in. (ohno). so the whole day of shopping, trying, walking, i only bought from cotton on. haha. and dined at this italian restaurant, with no gst charged. pretty cool. (:

i was so tired last night that i went to bed around 10pm. yet almost 2am, i heard some bangs at my neighbour's (as in loud bangs at the windows and stuff), and i could hear all sorts of vulgarities.. then i thought to myself, who knows if he will go berserk, and came smashing my windows??? i thought my parents were awake too, but surprisingly not. =/ so after 10 minutes, i went to their room and woke them up. that guy simply continued for almost 15-20 minutes, before storming off. ohman.

and this week had been equally busy. seriously. you have to believe your instinct, if you actually started doing something out of nowhere. i was preparing my documents for upcoming importantthingy, as i was thinking, since i was going to start schooling soon, i had better prepare them earlier than later being absent-minded about this and that. somehow, they really came for the routine visits, hahas.. all's well though. tee hee.
wow.. i'm gonna be celebrating my twoyearsold there soon!

i was planning to take day off next monday. but i'm already left with 3 working days there next week. with thursday most probably stationed at senoko, and 3/4 of my friday will be at SP for supplier's seminar. hohoho. and the following weekend, school is starting! seriously, i dream too much nowadays. wonder what's wrong with me nowadays.
xy said i must be watching too much documentary shows these days that lead me to have such a dream yesterday night.

okay. i had this seriously nonsensical dream. i don't even know where i was. assuming that was where i stayed. i woke up to realised, err.. that the area i stayed was like having a natural disaster; how do i explain.. err, let's just say it's like tsunami.. looking out of my window, i was surrounded by the sea (please don't say i live at kelong, laughing out loud!). and i was panicking.. and then i ran out of the room, looking for my brother who ironically slept like a pig. and when eventually everyone ran for their life (which i don't know how..... -.-) and my brother still taking his own sweet time telling me he wanna have a bathe (what the... -.-).. and somehow, i woke up from reality. haaaa.. yaya.. like i said, i'm too prone to dreaming ~~ridiculously.~~

nowadays, i often can't differentiate between my dreams and reality.
but luckyme, i'm not one who has nightmares (:
sometimes they can be just a normal day at work.. (of course not dreaming for the whole 8.45hours!)
and then i would recall those images i seen in my dreams with reality, thinking that it had happened....
errr. that's pretty confusing.. muddle-headed me.

tomorrow i intend to make something, hoping to surprise somebody.
hope i could do it without failure doh. that's my first attempt. hope everything goes right for dearest somebody! (:

this weekend, 50% had been done with. somehow i felt so sick this weekend, quote what a friend posted in facebook, more like a weak-end. nononono. i don't wanna take any mc! (shhhh! hahaha)

do you know, it had been 1/3 of 2010? sigh sigh sigh. looking back when we were just counting down to every new year, and time didn't really goes tick tock tick tock, cause it's almost half a year gone soon, once again. sometimes i have no idea, whether i should be looking forward or the otherway. all these while, i had been thinking about the same old stuff; this this & that that. then i guess i will be too busy to notice how fast/slow time goes in 40plus days time too..

but please please please. do grant me a few more years (smoothly), and i will promise i will keep to what i have in mind till the very end!

secondday of longweekend ended. one more day and it's back to the 5dulldays of workworkwork.

met up with justine in the afternoon; whereby we intended to catch a movie, but the timeslots available were pretty late. i was thinking of watching when in rome. butthen we decided. let's head to town! btw. met someone familiar there, and was wilson, who looked quite surprised (actually we were too) @ forever21. how sweet! he was helping his girlfriend to seeseelooklook at tops!

backtotopic. so we window-shopped, and looking around to get birthday gift for my colleague. finally managed to get something, otherwise i still have to wander to tampines. phew. & we had bread for dinner. her recommendation; bread society. cranberry cream cheese bread. its indeed yummilicious!
